Free 3D dice roller for D&D and tabletop RPGs

Tavern Quest Dice is an online dice roller for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and other tabletop role-playing games. Each die is thrown across the tray with real physics, so it tumbles, bounces and settles like a die on a table.

How to roll

Choose a die from the menu, pick a dice set, then tap the tray or press Roll dice. The top face lights up when the die lands and every roll is kept in the dice log. For rolls you make often, press + to start a new tab, add up to five dice and a modifier, and give it a name. Your tabs are saved in this browser.

Questions

Is the dice roller free?

Yes. It runs in your browser with no account, download or adverts.

Are the rolls random?

Each throw uses a physics simulation with a random starting speed and spin. The result is whichever face lands on top, the same way a real die works.

How does the d100 work?

The d100 rolls two ten-sided dice together: a tens die marked 00 to 90 and a units die marked 0 to 9. The two faces are added. 00 and 0 together count as 100.

Can I use it for D&D 5e or Baldur's Gate 3 style checks?

Yes. Use the d20 for attack rolls, saving throws and ability checks, and the other dice for damage, healing and random tables.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The page is built for touch screens. Tap the tray or the Roll dice button to throw.
